President Cyril Ramaphosa urged all South Africans to do the “Jerusalema” dance challenge as part of this year’s Heritage Day celebrations on September 24. This was part of his speech during his national address on the 16th of September where he announced that the country would move to lockdown alert level 1 from September 21. The president revealed that he is a huge fan of the hit song that took the world by storm, referring to it as “the ’Jerusalema’ song that I love”. As Umthathi Training Project Trust we gladly took part in the support of our local artists who brings good music. During this time, we were joined by our volunteers from Khunjulwa Marketing Services. We were also happy to see the community members from the neighborhood watching us as we were dancing on the Heritage Day. It is important to us to celebrate this day as it helps us remind our beneficiaries on the importance of knowing their identity and background.
